A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where were you able to get your pair?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and snagged them that way!
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?

How is the fit?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
